Blind-Friendly Astrology Course?

I've been interested in astrology for years now but always pushed it to the back of my mind because I thought it was impossible for a totally blind person to be able to practise it. But after a discussion with a friend, I'm beginning to wonder if it is. He's sighted and admits to not knowing how we think/perceive things etc but says that it really comes down to remembering locations, what numbers corespond to what and being able to put them together. So has anyone had success in this field? If so, can you recommend a blind-friendly course or at least some study or learning strategies that I could use in modifying a pre-existing course? Thanks.

I heard through a blind friend of mine that she's had success with courses from Universal Class though she hasn't taken any courses in astrology. They do offer an Astrology 101 course which, after completion, is supposed to teach you how to create a birth chart. The courses aren't free though but perhaps they may offer a demo of some sort so that you can test it to see if it will work for you. The link is http://astrology.onlineclasses.com
Also, I found a book from the NLS site entitled The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need by Joanna Woolfolk, so if you are a self-starter, it might be one you can look into. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
